Friends of Library offer book sale

The annual used book sale by the Friends of the Brigham City Library begins with a special preview sale for members of the Friends on Monday, August 27 from 6-8:30 p.m. Those who join the volunteer association with a $3 donation have the privilege of selecting the best from thousands of books offered for sale. In the past the money has been used to purchased new books and book racks, books-on-tape, videos and books in Spanish.
The sale opens to the public on Tuesday, August 28, and continues through Saturday, September 8, during regular library hours (Monday-Thursday 10-9, Friday and Saturday 10-6). The library is closed for maintenance on Friday, August 31, and Labor Day, Monday, September 3.
The sale ends with the $1 a Bag Blowout Sale on Peach Days on Saturday, September 8. On that day the sale begins after the parade ends at noon and runs until 6 p.m. The sale is located in the basement of the library at 26 Forest Street in Brigham City near the historical court house.
