Friday, Sept. 13
Eagles host bingo night

     The Fraternal Order of Eagles Box Elder 2919 will hold a bingo night at 912 N. Main Street, Brigham City, at 7 p.m.

Saturday, Sept. 14
Box Elder South Company to host district convention
     The Box Elder South Company will host a district convention for Box Elder North and South companies at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints church building, 531 N. 100 West, Brigham City.
     All officers training – elected and appointed – will meet at 9 a.m. A general meeting and a free luncheon will begin at 10:30 a.m.
     For reservations to the luncheon, contact Janet Daniels at 435-734-1336. RSVP by Sept. 6.

3D printing class scheduled at library
     The Brigham City Public Library, 26 E. Forest Street, will host a 3D printing class taught by Ashton Reeves at 10:30 a.m. The event is for persons 12 years and older who want to use the library’s 3D printer. Participants must bring government or school issued identification to the class in order to get certified. Those younger than 18 must have a parent sign for them before they receive their certification.

Benji’s Family Fun Fair
    A fundraising family fun fair will be held in the parking lot of Ace Hardware, 220 N. Main, from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. The event is free, but donations will be accepted to go toward the medical expenses for Benji Norman, who is fighting brain cancer. There will be face painting, story telling by local authors, BEHS “Newsies” cast will perform, Peak’s Circus Performers class, rock painting, crafts, and a car show held in the Coldwell Banker Real Estate parking lot. Food will be available by “Not so famous Daves.” Raffle tickets will be sold for $1 each, prizes will be given every 20 minutes, the grand prize is a Yeti cooler.

Nonprofit organization awareness Fall Frenzy
A Fall Frenzy gathering of non-profit organizations will include food trucks, bounce houses, a DJ and time to network and socialize. The event will take place at Library (Shuman) Park, 210 N. Tremont Street, Tremonton, from 1-8 p.m.

Monday, Sept. 16
Public invited to safety open house

     A free safety open house will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Brigham City Fire Department, 442 W. Forest Street, for the public to have hands-on experience with Life Flight, police officers, power department, Utah Highway Patrol and firefighters.
     The event will include food trucks and a dunk tank. Proceeds from the dunk tank will go to the University of Utah Burn Center.

Tuesday, Sept. 17

More Than Sad: Suicide Prevention Night

    The counselors at Box Elder High School have partnered with Brigham City Suicide prevention to host an event called “More Than Sad,” at the BEHS Auditorium, 380 S. 600 West, from 6-8 p.m.
    This is a program geared for parents of children all ages as well as community child/youth advisers, coaches and educators are invited to attend.
    More Than Sad is developed and endorsed by the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. This event is sponsored by the Brigham City Suicide Prevention Coalition and Box Elder High School. Parents will learn how to recognize signs of depressions and other mental health problems, how to initiate a conversation with their child, and  how to get him or her help when needed.
    Certificates of Attendance will also be available for advisers, coaches, and other professionals who are seeking professional development.

Friday, Sept. 20
Third Friday Live scheduled

     Third Friday Live will be held at 95 S. Main Street, Brigham City, from 5 to 8 p.m. The family-friendly event includes food trucks, music and shopping.

Saturday, Sept. 21
Ballet West performance and dinner set for public

     A Ballet West performance and dinner will be held at the Brigham Academy Center, 58 N. Main Street, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. The event is $50 per person – space is limited.

Fine Arts Center
    Friday, Sept. 13: Preschool story time with Miss Joyce will begin its school year series at 9:30 a.m., for children 3 to 5 years old. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Story time is held the second Friday of every month. A donation of $1 - $2 per child.
    Wed.-Thurs, Sept. 17-18: Musical auditions for James and the Giant Peach Jr. will be at 6:30 p.m. Children ages 8-18 are invited to audition. The performance will be Dec. 5-9.
    Saturday, Sept. 21: Open mic night will be held at 7 p.m. The event is free to attend, but donations are encouraged.
    Fall class registration is available online at bcfineartsenter.org. Call the center to register.
