Angels for Christmas programs begins
The Angels for Christmas (Box Elder County Sub for Santa) is accepting applications through the Department of Workforce Services and the Tremonton and Brigham City food pantries for children who are in need of Christmas assistance.

Monthly diabetes class
The Brigham City Community Hospital will hold its monthly diabetes class from 4 to 7 p.m. in the hospital’s cardiac rehab education room, 950 Medical Drive. Sandy Trierweiler, a hospital pharmacist, will present the discussion on “Diabetes Medications – Questions and Answers.” The class is free and open to the public.

Lunch and dance planned at senior center
Members of the Brigham City Senior Center are invited to attend a lunch and dance from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the center, 24 N. 300 West. Music will be performed by Tony Summerhays and The One Man Band. Attendees are encouraged to wear Halloween costumes for a chance to win a prize and participate in a cake walk.

Library celebrating National Novel Writing Month
The Brigham City Library, 26 E. Forest Street, is celebrating National Novel Writing Month (NANo) throughout the month of November by setting personal writing goals. Those participating in the program will earn tickets for the library’s drawing.

Trip to performance set for seniors
Members of the Brigham City Senior Center are invited to see the “The Bar J Wranglers” show at Bear River High School. A bus will depart from the center, 24 N. 300 West, at 6 p.m. The cost is $25 and includes transportation and front row seats.

Fine Arts Center
Nov. 1: A free music and composition workshop for children ages 8-12 will be held from 1 to 5:15 p.m. The course will be led by Susan Neidert and other staff musicians who will teach about the theme, mood, key and rhythm. Limited space is available. Pre-registration is required by 5 p.m. on Oct. 31. The center is partnering with My Discovery Destination.
Nov. 2: The World of Puppetry Museum will be open from 1 to 4 p.m. and a Punch n’ Judy show will be at 2 p.m. Admission is free, but donations are encouraged.
