Annual reindeer games event set The New Hope Crisis Center of Box Elder County will hold its 10th annual reindeer games at Heritage Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Brigham City, 647 S. Main Street, from 5:30 to 8 p.m. This event is a fundraiser for The New Hope Crisis Center, providing services to those affected by domestic violence, sexual assault and stalking in Box Elder County. Donations can be made on site at the event; online through the New Hope Crisis Center’s Facebook page, or by check at the Brigham City location, 435 E. 700 South, or at the Garland location, 1386 S. Main Street. Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus will be at the event, as well as reindeer. Prizes and refreshments will be available. Saturday, Dec. 7 Christmas Bazaar open to public A Christmas Bazaar will be held at the Brigham City Senior Center, 24 N. 300 West, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event is open to the public and will include 32 vendors who will have a variety of items available for purchase. Princess Academy will have a crafting station for children. Annual Elk Festival, sleigh rides open to public Hardware Ranch Wildlife Management Area will hold its annual Elk Festival and the beginning of the ranch’s sleigh rides, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the ranch, SR-101 MM22; Blacksmith Fork Canyon, Hyrum. The family-friendly event is free and open to the public. However, sleigh rides cost $5 for persons 9 years and older; $3 for ages 4-8; and free for ages 3 years and younger. Santa Claus is coming to town Santa Claus will make and appearance at Brigham Floral and Gift, 437 S. Main Street, from 1 to 3 p.m. The event – that’s open to the public – will include a drawing, hot chocolate and donuts, writing letters to Santa, and making reindeer food to leave out for Christmas Eve. Letters for Santa children’s event Aspire Performance Academy of the Arts will hold a ‘Letters for Santa’ event from 1 to 2:30 p.m. 4444 S. 450 West, Brigham City. The cost is $10 and is for children ages 3 to 12. Holiday Extravaganza set The Holiday Extravaganza will be held at Midland Square, 75 W. Main Street, Tremonton, from 1 to 7:30 p.m. A horse drawn carriage and hot cocoa will be from 1 to 3 p.m.; ping pong drop, 1:15 p.m.; candy cane hunt, 2 p.m.; pictures with Santa, 2:15 p.m.; Tremonton lights, 5:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 9 Daughters of Utah Pioneers Locust Camp Christmas party The Daughters of Utah Pioneers Locust Camp will be holding their Christmas party at 12 p.m. At the Brigham City Stake Center, 650 Anderson Drive. There will be a potluck luncheon and all daughters are encouraged to bring food items for the Box Elder Community Food Pantry. Tuesday, Dec. 10 Garden Club sets luncheon The Spade and Hope Garden Club will hold their annual Christmas potluck luncheon at 12 p.m. at Adele Woodworth’s home. Each member is asked to bring a potluck dish to share, as well as canned food or paper goods to donate to the Community Pantry. The only item of business will be election of officers, with the remainder of the meeting as a time for holiday visiting. Thursday, Dec. 12 Women’s Club sets party The Brigham City Women’s Club will hold their annual Christmas party from 3 to 5 p.m. in the multipurpose room at Hervin Bunderson Center, 641 E. 200 North, Brigham City. The event will include festive food, installation of officers for the coming year, and a program of members sharing holiday items and the stories that go with them. Members are asked to bring either a sweet or savory treat for the buffet table. Guests are welcome. Saturday, Dec. 14 Breakfast with Santa Gillies Funeral Chapel will hold its annual Breakfast with Santa at 8 a.m. or 9:30 a.m. at the funeral chapel, 24 N. 300 West, Brigham City. The event is for children ages 12 and under. Tickets are available for pick up at the funeral chapel from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday – Friday. Tickets are limited. Fine Arts Center Dec. 6: An open house will be held to celebrate the center’s 20th anniversary and recent remodeling from 4 to 7 p.m. Tours, activities and light refreshments will be available. Dec. 7: Children ages 5 to 12 are invited to make their own gifts for family and friends at the center’s annual Gift Day, from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. and 1 to 3 p.m. The cost is $10 per child or $8 each for three or more children per family. Open mic night will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. The family-friendly event is open to the public, A $2 donation is encouraged. Dec. 9-10: ‘LuAnn’ auditions will be held at the center from 6 to 8 p.m. Auditioners should come prepared to read script and sing a short song of their choice. The cast is for children 13 years and older. The performance is scheduled for March. Dec. 12-16: Tickets are available for James and the Giant Peach Jr. The performance will begin at 7 p.m. on Dec. 12, 13 and 16. A matinee will be at 2 p.m. on Dec. 14.
