Faith leaders invited to Domestic Violence training The New Hope Crisis Center, 435 E. 700 South, Brigham City, is hosting a Domestic Violence training for faith leaders within Box Elder County on Thursday, Nov. 21, from 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.. This training will include topics such as How to recognize and respond to domestic violence, When to report and What resources are available? This training is open to all members of congregations that could benefit from the information, spouses and guests of those in leadership positions are also invited to attend. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints LDS Family Services sponsors weekly Addiction Recovery meetings for those struggling with any addiction. The meetings are for those struggling with general addictions such as tobacco, alcohol, coffee, tea, drugs, gambling, codependency, compulsive eating or compulsive spending.
